Originally, this was the Bophuthatswana Plaza, which was then taken over by the RBN and refurbished as the Bafokeng Plaza and now it has been upgraded into the Phokeng Mall. This Mall is a partnership between the Royal Bafokeng Nation and Heriot Properties and is located on Bafokeng owned land.

The entire centre has been revamped and there's a new array of retailers which will meet the growing needs of the Bafokeng Community and the surrounding villages.
